ICD-10 and Inpatient "Quota"Hi all,
I was just wondering what the expected "quota" is for inpatient coding at other facilities now that ICD-10 is here.
Keep in mind: I do the inpatient facility coding, CPT coding for any procedures (colonoscopys, colectomys, EKGs, cholecystectomys... any professional fee that is NOT an e/m) and the anesthesia that accompanies some of these services in a rural mid-size hospital setting.
Any insight or opinions is appreciated. I'm looking for a typical 8 hour work day average number, but anything is helpful.
