nailplate reduced

Diagnosis: Onychodystrophy of toenails. Then provider states "nailplate reduced bilaterally 1." There is no description in his note of how this was done (such as digital block placed, etc.).

Is this the same as trimming of nails (G0127)?

Or is this avulsion of nailplate (11730, 11732)?

Or does this warrant a query to provider? I've coded other notes by him where he does state toenails trimmed, so I know he uses that wording, and that's what made me pause here to think this may not be trimming. Yet, with no further description...I'm just not sure!

Any help much appreciated!
