Pre-op evaluation: ASA 2, severe muscle spasm after last injection, I recommended moderate sedation to help prevent this
Monitors: SpO2, expired CO2, NIBP, ECG
Monitoring of patient assisted by trained observer.
IV medications: versed 2mg, propofol 4+3+2cc, for moderate sedation
Occasionally, the doc will also recommend sedation to the patient so he will do a better procedure. He will write in the note "OK for sedation"
Is it unethical to bill for this or is there some dx that is applicable?
Thank you for your help.

What dx could I use to necessitate moderate sedation if the doc recommends it?
