PREOPERATIVE DIAGNOSIS:
1. Ciliochoroidal malignant melanoma with retinal invasion right eye, status
post radioactive iodine brachytherapy plaque placement 1 week ago, right eye
2. Disinserted lateral rectus muscle.
3. Presence of Gundersen conjunctival flap, right eye.
POSTOPERATIVE DIAGNOSIS:
1. Ciliochoroidal malignant melanoma with retinal invasion right eye, status
post radioactive iodine brachytherapy plaque placement 1 week ago, right eye
2. Disinserted lateral rectus muscle.
3. Presence of Gundersen conjunctival flap, right eye.
PROCEDURE:
1. Takedown of Gundersen subconjunctival flap procedure, right eye.
2. Reinsertion lateral rectus muscle (horizontal rectus muscle), right eye.
3. Removal of radioactive iodine brachytherapy plaque, right eye.
4. Posterior sub-Tenon's Kenalog injection, right eye.
5. Sub-Tenon's peribulbar ophthalmic block, right eye.
